The SWAM CHALLENGE is all about health. To be healthy physically, you need to be healthy mentally. SWAM CHALLENGE started with an idea. The passing of my mother and father has really opened my eyes to the importance of health. My father passed away from a sudden heart attack at the age of 47 and my mother passed away from brain cancer one year later at the age of 50. After the passing of my mother I went outside to clear my mind and just started running. I ran one mile to my in-laws house and that is when it all began. From that day on, I started this challenge to get people and their loved ones active. It's time we stop making excuses and live a healthier active lifestyle. We all know someone suffering from obesity, diabetes, and other health issues. Please don't let that person be you! All it takes is one mile a day for 30 consecutive days to make a change. Whether it is weight loss or simply sticking to a routine for 30 days, this challenge will break so many of the mental blocks we often have when trying to be healthy.
